Yesterday was a waste. Really truly, a day that meant very little. My eyes felt terrible so I never put in my contacts and because I didn't want to try and deal with my glasses, I did only things that I could do while being visually impaired. That basically means I play solitaire and bejweled on my ipod. I can do that without my glasses. ... The ipod just can't be more than eight inches from my face and I usually have one eye closed so I don't go cross-eyed. I did really miss seeing words on a page and decided to see if my eyes could handle reading. This was at 7 pm. My eyes were okay and I ended up reading three books and the newspaper before 11:30. I was pleased.
Today I got up in a timely fashion and did three loads of laundry before I left for Subaru. They had my baby for a little more than an hour and the only real difference I noticed was that she was no longer covered in pollen. I think my favorite perk of Subaru's is the free car wash every time you go to have something done to the car. LOVE IT.
After that, I went to Wal-Mart to kill some time and then had to head alllll the way down to Chelmsford for my eye appointment. Verdict: yes my corneas have some dry spots. Continue using the eye drops as much as I want and lets try a different contact just to see if that makes a difference.
Did you know rush hour in northern Massachusetts is a nightmare? Cause it is. Seriously, avoid it if you can. It took me forever to get anywhere, let alone home.
James and I made last minute plans this morning to see each other for a bit tonight, and we did. He came over and we took a drive in my car. He was very impressed with the car and my driving. He told me the car was almost as pretty as me. He loves that her name is Ziva. He knew what show I got it from and he thinks I'm funny and that it fits. I love James. One of my very best friends. Oh, what would I do without that boy?
Now I'm writing, recapping everything that's happened and then I will go watch what I believe is THE SEASON FINALE OF NCIS!!!! It should be very intense. It recorded Tuesday night but this is the first time I've been able to actually watch it.
I'm happy. It was a good day.
