Okay, so I did get to the mall and bought the wallet inserts. You know the little clear plastic things that sometimes come in wallets that people put credit cards or pictures in? Well, this whole car thing is giving me a lot more cards to put places. I didn't have any of those things lying around though but I know of one store that sells them. I went to the mall and got those then went home.
(James had to rain check me for the pretzels. Next week though. The boy offered me a free pretzel, and by golly, that is not an offer I'll let go.)
I brought Grace and Mum down to Muldoon a little later but the fields were mostly taken or too public for the little duckling to feel confident. She's so much like me in that way. We don't want anyone watching us and we don't want even the thought that someone could or might.
My poor clean little Ziva went through the gravely, muddy, wet, rocky parking lot for nothing. That parking lot is a mess. The deep crevices all over the parking lot? Those are not just "holes" anymore. No, those are craters now. They're very deep and very long, very wide, and not a place for my car. Nope, nope nope.
Ah! 12:09?! Oh dear. Not what I had intended. I still want to eat too.
I got a surprise phone call from Matt tonight which was quite nice, even though the ringtone scared me, as my phone usually does when the ringer is on. He had some time to kill and at least SOME people appreciate that I got a new car and want to see it. Could just be a boy thing though. I'm not one though so I can't take a gander on that. We went for a drive in my car and it was fun.
I've learned I'm a bit uptight about my car. How can I help it though? I only have one and she's so pretty and awesome. There's probably a book for people like me who are too emotionally connected to their car. Or not. I'm not emotionally connected yet. I just want to keep her safe and clean and unharmed. And with a full tank of gas.
That's enough. My brain started to shut down once I saw it was 12:09. It's later than that now of course.
Goodnight everybody.
