My photo
I'm not trying to be just another normal girl, in a messed up world. I'm living for Christ, not afraid to fight for what's right. While I'm waiting, I will serve You, while I'm waiting, I will worship, while I'm waiting, I will not faint, I'll be running the race, even while I wait. I will move ahead bold and confidant, taking every step in obedience, while I'm waiting.

Oh yes.

Its come to my attention tonight that Ted Kennedy did not have an honorable past.
I realize this, and agree that even 40 years later a murder doesn't expire. I do agree with that.

Personal opinion on the man, I didn't agree with zippo of his opinions, starting with Obama.

He's dead now. I know its a trend to continue to honor the great people after death, and continue to scorn the bad people after death, but sometimes it annoys me that we do that.

It would be different if it was someone that was honorable and died.

It rankles on me. This whole thing.

July 18, 1969 is in some ways, a day that will never be forgotten.

Thats the right thing, but on August 26, 2009, maybe everyone could pretend to forget.

I will say this, the date that is forever and ever in infamy is coming up.
Its 16 days away.

September 11th.

That is a day that brings horror and pain to an entire nation and will never be forgotten.
While the death of a single person might not bring horror and pain to an entire nation (Obvious exclusions, some of whom, Abraham Lincoln, J.F.K., Michael Jackson, etc),

September 11th, 2001 brought horror and pain to an entire nation, more than any horror and pain thought possible.

Remember September.
